At an event a couple of years ago a well-known marketer was pitching his system to get your work online successfully.
As always, there were the testimonials giving social proof about how effective the system was, and how you could do it too.
He had a woman stand up in the audience.
“Hey, share with the audience how much revenue you did with your FIRST YEAR using this system!”
I don’t remember the number, but it was a lot.
I happened to sit next to her at dinner. After swapping war stories of growing our online businesses she shared with me that she wanted to die when he did that.
“Why?” I asked.
“Well, it’s not the whole story.”

This is probably the #1 question I get asked…
There’s some practicality.
And… some magic.
Mostly it’s a choice.
You can keep trying to make it all perfect or you can CHOOSE to show up in the TRUTH of life.
Messy. Imperfect. AND HAPPY and THRIVING.
What I would say is that if you’re struggling with getting things done, the biggest obstacle is probably you <3

There is no way that I thought I’d ever grow up to be an expert in sales. I was a nice, good girl.
And nice, good girls DO NOT sell.
As I write this I think of the inevitable connection to the oldest profession in the world, and I have to think on some deeply embedded level, there is a collective belief that selling ourselves is somehow connected to… well, selling ourselves.
Nope. Sales is not for nice girls. Or decent women.
Just the idea of selling – for many women – brings of feelings of shame and embarrassment.

It’s time for you to stop being a victim of your circumstances when it comes to the relationship you have with money.
There are a million reasons why it’s time for you to stop, but the reason with the most immediate importance is that you can’t create two opposing conditions in your life at the same time.
